Reasonably confident this was along Rue Sellaline - certainly it was within the Medina proper, of course.

Bits of the animal (presumably goat) that most of us only ever eat if we have a sausage roll, meat pie or a kebab.

Keep in mind that it's 45+ (Celsius), there's no fly nets, the meat is presented like this for hours and .. well, you can let your imagination run riot.

Generally the trick with these kinds of places is to go vegetarian for the duration (note that this isn't a guaranteed response - I saw plenty of cases of meat like this hanging, dripping, over the top of the neighbouring stall's fruit) or insist on something on the black side of well done for all your meaty treats.
