Reasonably confident this was along Rue Sellaline - certainly it was within the Medina proper, of course.
Two camel heads. I found out from a local subsequent to this that the camel heads are in fact not for sale - perhaps bizarrely, no one finds them especially delectable. Here they are just for show.
But camel meat for mince, specifically for kefta, is highly sought after, and is one of the more expensive local meats.
Again, the meat isn't refrigerated, there's no fly netting, it's mid-40's (Celsius) and the meat's out on the counter for some hours.
We were mostly vegetarian for our stay.
