Ol' mate here is looking on at this truly impressive range of spices, pickled and fresh foods. Presumably frustratingly for both customers and retailers it was the fourth week of Ramadan, so everyone was being very careful to be seen to be not eating (or even, it seems, to be looking peckish) during the day.
