In part the composition, sitting on the ground getting strange looks from tourists with their compact cameras, presumably bemused and confused about what the heck I was trying to do. Partly the number of people wandering by, meaning it was quite a wait to get a people-free shot. Partly the metering, which was offset by a bracketing set in order to generate this shot. And then a fair chunk of time faffing around with LuminanceHDR to produce this pseudo-HDR made from a combination of 3 frames.
